Cover Girl Challenge

You all were instructed to created a Cover Girl Ad. Any picture of any women, or girl colorize it and input the words Cover Girl. And, the winner would recieve their ad in the magazine and get a chance to do our first cover ever. So. Throughout the week you guys are going to see your photos popping up on the blog and I haven't decided yet but I might put things to a little vote. So watch out because it's all going down right here.

Magazine Line-Up

As of right now I am preparing a ten page line-up for the magazine. I'm going to post pages and the people I want working on them.

If you have an idea for the magazine, make a comment and I'll try my best to work it in. I want things to remain simple for the first issue. But, if your idea is good enough we will work it in.

Meeting Today

Hey guys. I have a competition in a week or so and I was thinking. Being a member of urbnfiends and considering our current status I wouldn’t very please with our standing. Being everything that’s going on I don’t really know what to do. We have a couple of new members that are not new at all now. I have plenty of stuff I want to get done. The how is the only thing that’s worrying me. So I’ve decided to have a meeting. I’ll let you guys in on what’s going on. And, you guys can give me some insight on how you think we should go about completing them.
We’re on Christmas Break. And, seeing that I’m in competition we Christmas break is going to extend another week into the weekend which means I won’t be back in school until January 12th.
I’m setting the meeting for December 27th. 4:00 Central Time. Whether you have yahoo or not you are expected to attend the meeting. Accommodations will be made. If the time and date of this meeting does not meet your standings please let me know again. Accommodations will be made.

Ren stopping by

Hey guys, decided to drop in a give and update.
My birthday is coming up next week 24th so you guys can start putting something together for me :wink: lol playing but yea- I've been somewhat busy and my latest project is to make a graphic for every song that i like on Kanye's latest album- let's see if i stick with it.

I haven't been on here in awhile, been busy with school, college that is.
It's been a rough few months, trying to keep my 3.0 GPA in order to keep my scholarship.
I have done a few graphics in that time, basically to calm my nerves, it's my ventilation system, but nothing to serious.
And, I'm really into colorizations now also !
Just learned after doing graphics for almost two years.

been a WHILE! I miss UF :(. Uhm I guess while I can, I'll give everyone a quick update on my lifee. It SUCKS!loll. Mostly school. I really hate that school, classes are going okay trying to boost up my grades. I'm in the midst of attempting to transfer schools so wish me luck that I will be able to! I'm trying to get back in some type of shape for LACROSSE! First time going out for it, tryouts aren't until spring but I need to start early so yeah. Have to start hitting up that gym. On the graphic tip, I haven't made much. I kinda sorta took a little break from graphics, still making a few things here and there. I just want to see how much I will change if I just take a little time from it. I that makes much sense. I've started to not make my stuff so fancy and justlike add some color to it and all.I realy need to start working on COLORIZATIONS. They are like on of the things I hate the most next to having to put a CURVES LAYER hate that stuff. So yeah i just want to make them as best as I can, and as of now they are from it.

Sooo here is some stuff I have made since I have been away. If your a member of Fiction United or Seductive Dreams which I know a lot of you are you may have seen some or all of this stuff already.

New Blog Layout

The blog was looking kind of old to me so i changed the layout. I have alot of school work I need to get started on, so pretty soon I'll be moving on to doing that. Considering the fact we aren't really getting any participation in any of the things I am trying to get going for urbnfiends I'm guessing I should just take them at a slower place. Once we get that part going then we'll try our hand at adding fanfic forums if necessary.

Now if you do not know the html code or CSS email me and I will sent you a tutorial. If you have no wish to learn then go to whatever page type in what you want on the page. I am asking that every member takes the right to do whatever they can for urbnfiends. Whether it's promotion helping with different projects or ideas for the webpage. We really do need all the help we can get.

Chello, I'm Stesha. I don't have a nickname and never have, which is kind of wierd, lol. Hmmmm, lets see, I was born, raised, and still reside in Houston, TX. I'm random at times and my train of thought just takes a trip into space. I'm a sophomore in a catholic college (boring) and I'll be 19 in November.

My graphics are very inspiration- driven. Songs, art pieces, and television inspire my work a lot. I'm a big fan off all forms of art, music, drawings, paintings, books, etc. I draw in my spare time, I'm not the greatest but I'm not the worst. I applied to urbnfiends because I wasn't appart of a group yet, and it seemed like a good choice, sooooooo I joined. Here is my challenge graphic:

I'm hailing from Jamaica W.I and i'm a very random, sometimes annoying and sarcastic, but fun too- when you get to know me. I don't want to exactly say that I am leaving Urbnfiends but I think I will need to take a hiatus at least, if possible. Today was the first day of school and the only reason I am on the computer is because I'm ordering pizza loll. I still want to be part of urbnfiends very much, but the way these teachers piled everything on me is ridiculous! Trust that when ever I can I will be on here and when I come online I will be here,and trying to help get new people too! Thanks to staff for letting be apart of UF also.
